I floss daily. In fact I’m a little obsessive about my teeth. I’m even obsessive about other people’s teeth. You don’t have to be pretty or handsome, but please, please, have all your teeth. Once, when I complained to my dentist about the “cracks” in my teeth, he told me I was looking way too closely. I’ve had my “silver” amalgam fillings removed and replaced with composite resin fillings. A good thing too, there were some tiny little cavities hiding underneath a couple of the fillings. The amalgam hides this nice little fact on an x-ray. I haven’t had a cavity in years. My dental hygienist still manages to find a bit of tartar though which irritates me to no end but she won’t give me her scraper to take home with me as a “do it yourself” project. Which brings me back to floss. What the heck is it made out of anyway? And which one(s) should I use if I want to “go green” dental floss-wise.
Thanks to Tiny Choices I don’t have to perform the onerous task of doing the actual research myself. Woohoo! Check out The Dental Floss post for more information!
